Product Guides

Product guides under Maximalism map categories for full enrichment stacks. They are overviews, not carts. Less vs More names the kinds of tools that usually support depth when a minimum already felt thin. We do not place affiliate buy links here.

How to use these overviews

Confirm Less already hit its ceiling in the domain. Name the enrichment you want. Then add in layers: one category at a time, lived with long enough to measure skill, joy, or capability. If the metric is flat, the add was noise. Curiosity can wait a month.

Shop with a stop line written down: max items, max spend, or no new category until the last purchase is in weekly use. Stop lines keep intentional maximums intentional.

Categories for a fuller stack

Practice and skill tools. Lessons, durable instruments or equipment matched to your real level, and maintenance kits so the gear stays usable. Prefer skill over stuff when both claim More. Buy the next class of tool when practice already outgrew what you have.

Home capacity. Extra seating that gets used, lighting layers for long evenings, storage that resets after hosting, and kitchen range that matches how you cook for people. Guest-facing extras earn a place only when overnight or dinner patterns are real.

Work depth. Dual displays or one large display when multi-window work is daily, an ergonomic chair class for long sessions, a docking station that ends reconnect rituals, and task lighting that serves attention. Standing options only if you will change posture during the week.

Hobby and collection support. Display or archival storage that protects what you keep, inventory notes so duplicates stop, and a budget line for the next meaningful piece rather than impulse filler. Collections without a keep / park / release rule become warehouses.

Maintenance and consumables. Cleaning, descaling, sharpening, or care supplies matched to the stack you own. A More life you do not maintain becomes a Less life that tastes worse and costs more.

What we leave out on purpose

No brand rankings and no store URLs on this page. Category names stay durable. Commerce, when it appears later, stays separate from editorial judgment. See Disclosure.

Know when More is done: the domain feels rich and new adds only change cosmetics. Cap the cart with a hard stop before you browse. For intentional minimum maps, see Minimalism: Product Guides.
